Default Another-What is it going to run??? thread

So my car with full exhaust, lid, bellow, and a 125 shot went consistent 11.80's at 117mph. Since then i have added an ls6 intake, 224 230 581 592 @114 cam, 373's, yank 3000. I plan on running the same shot with this setup. I am looking for something around the 11.50's area. Ill be on 315 nitto's. Should be going to the track next weekend after the car gets tuned. Anyone with similar setups chime in!

If you only run 11.5 then you should shoot the car

I have a friend with a 228/232 cam, bbk intake, 3.73 gears, full exhaust and a 125 shot. Pretty comparible car. He runs 11.9-12.1 on motor and 10.8-11.3 on the juice.

He has a 3800 stall though. You should consider a 3600-4000 stall as it would compliment that cam better. But I would still expect very low 11's on the spray as long as the DA isn't rediculously high.

Good luck.

I would be very happy if it touched tens. Even after just the ls6 intake and spraying the car it felt like it picked up atleast 3 tenths on the button from the intake. Thanks for the reply

Don't know about 10's but low 11's are definitely in your future....

Spraying it out of the hole the best '60 was a 1.6, most of the time a 1.7

With the stall now and spraying out of the hole you should be able to hit a 1.4 with ease and they say for about every tenth in your 60' is 2 tenths in your 1/4 mile et. So just the stall alone should know off a solid 4 tenths alone without even considering the new intake and cam. Let us know what it does.
