It is a close race between a Mach 1 and an LS1 with the edge to the LS1 as speeds increase. How difficult is that to comprehend?
i comprehend it. they're close to 60mph then the ls1 takes over. it's not rocket science.

And yes, the 346ci ls1 is superior to a 281 4v, you don't need to be an einstein to understand this... but this doesn't nullify the FACT that a mach1 can beat an ls1.... Sorry bro to be the one to let you in on this secret, lol.
yes a mach CAN beat an ls1. but it usually wont. hell some guys with 3v's have beat ls1's. does that mean they're faster?

Who really cares? Both are equally nice IMO. Neither is clearly a better car in my book.

Who cares only about performance? There is alot more to a car than just that.

Have you been in a F-Body lately? Its all performance, the seats and interior suck, they rattle and they aren't very comfortable. But damn I love smoking me some Mustangs with mine.

Yes I have been in a F-body lately. Was a black WS6 T/A. Thing rattled more than a baby's rattle. The gauges could barely be seen (that red color). I still liked the car because I knew it looked badass going down the road but to me a Mustang is just alot more comfortable. Now if we could just figure out how to make a Mustang fast we would have the best of both worlds.

This is so ******* retarded....seriously. Ignorant stubborn fool/s wont' believe otherwise. So be it. They're the idiots that have no real world experience or insight.

Apparently trap speeds are that matters and gearing/weight have nothing to do with it.

ONE or TWO TENTHS OF A SECOND in the 1/4 mile is basically the definition of a "driver's race." And I find it quite humorous how the guys with the stalled automatics are always talking about how dig races are the only races that count, and roll races are gay; but then you have people like yourself that put so much stock in a trapspeed that's 2-4mph higher

IMO doesn't matter what you drive, dig races are the only ones that matter.. Period.

You beat me in a roll race.. Good for you.. I beat you in a dig, you are slower than I am.
I don't care if I get DRUG from a roll. That factors in NOTHING compared to what a dig consists of and it is the only true measure to see if someone can make a truly quick car. Otherwise you throw all the power in the world and go from whatever mph you can hook from. Trap speeds are easy to get, sixty foots are difficult.

Any race that YOU agree to race is a real race. We all would race a random car on the highway if they came up to us wanting to. You can't say that isn't a real race because he wouldn't slow down to a dead stop on I-95 and let you heat your tires up and go from a dig. There is alot of different racing in the world past drag racing. Trap speed shows how powerful a car is. ET shows how well a car works as a whole.

They are all races in my book. Only one counts for bragging right IMO though.
