Default first pass for FI LS3???

Whaddya think it'll run? I'm taking the C6 to the strip tomorrow night, so I'm curious what most would think.
The setup is good for high 10's with some minor improvements, but I know traction will be the biggest obstacle...

ECS powered LS3 - 570 rwhp / 550 rwtq
tuned A6 trans w/ 2.56 rear
stock GY run craps.

I know I would do better with radials and gears, but I'm not there yet. I'm hoping for low-11's, and expecting to be shown the gate after the first pass since no cage.

Your going to have a very hard time with stock tires, you might actually run slower then stock. Otherwise I think you would be in the high tens- low elevens.

Thanks, uh, I'm guessing that's Chris behind the ECS username? Mid-high 10's is my final goal for the C6. (After gears/converter/and better tires.)

And yeah, stockers are 2.56 on the C6. The Z51 came with 2.73's, and I think the manuals come with 3.15's...don't quote me on that last one though. But check out the ratios in the A6....

First: 4.03
Second: 2.36
Third: 1.53
Fourth: 1.15
Fifth: 0.85
Sixth: 0.67

So with a 2.56, it's damn near an A4 w/ 3.73's.

I do know traction is going to be my biggest concern. I did get offered the use of drag radials, but I like my diff in one piece for the time being.
But the track has been recently repaved, and the sun's been out all day and it's been pretty warm down here right now. So I'm hoping those factors will play in my favor tonight.

DING! DING! DING! We have a winner! And it was worse than I expected.

Pretty much consistent 12.5's. I couldn't get it to stick hardly at all. It would go, go, go, spin, rev, shift, and catch all the way through the top of 3rd and the end of the run. At the top of 2nd, the car would start to go sideways so I'd have to let out, let it catch, and get back in.

I tried to feather it a bit on the last run to stay in it. But when I had to counter steer a bit, I just let off.

But I DID best a brand new 2010 ZR1 by .02. LOL!!! (He was having the same problem, I was just able to get back in it quicker.)

But bottom line is, no traction. And maybe a little of the fact that I hadn't tree'd up in about 8-10 years. lol!

Thanks guys!

The car wont give anywhere near a proper representation of MPH with stock tires. I always hear people say the MPH should still be xx, but that is flat out incorrect IMHO.

Get some tires on there for a day and try it again!

Thanks Doug. And you're exactly right. Everyone seems to keep saying that the MPH should be higher, even with the low times.

It'll be a bit before I get DR's though. I'm still wading through meth kit info, trying to decide which controller I like best. But I will have a loaner set of DR's next time out.

Sorry if the crappy runs sullied the ECS good name. LOL!!

Your reaction time doesn't matter, will still show exact same times at a TNT night.

Get some radials!

No, I realize that; I picked up @ 6.5 mph on the drag radials....just figured I'd ask as sometimes the trap is disgustingly high for the time.
