realistic: what can it run?

Default realistic: what can it run?

hey there guys - been a member here a couple of years but don't do much posting. tons of reading though. so i have the infamous what will it run question.
98 trans am a4 with LT's, cat back, lid, and a tune by frost. haven't had it to the track but plan to sometime. just wondering what i can expect realistically?

Anywhere from a 12.8x to a 13.40 or so IMO. That's dependent upon weather (DA) and traction. I'm assuming you're running street radials and that you'll cut a 2.0 60' with that
4L60E trans. Trap speeds should be 109mph or so. Again, that's an estimate.

I had a '00 A4 Z28 so I'm basing my opinion off my experience.

I unit is dead on.

Depend mostly on DA and traction. Sea level and dead hooking should be 12.8-13.0.

appreciate the replys guys.

what would be the next logical step as far as mods go for me? what would i need to be a consistent mid 12's?

A good stall converter will get you there...

and as far as what it will run the other guys are right...lots of factors involved but with the mods in my sig (minus the stall) I ran consistent 13.1 @107 w/ a 2.0xx 60'. Thats with a track elevation of about 640 ft. and the DA right around 2,000 ft. I'm going this friday to see what i run with the stall....
