You should go an 11. I went 11.83 @ 116 so you have the trap speed. I launch at 5-5.5k dumping the clutch and that yields 1.62-1.65 short times everytime, and that is on a 26x10.5x16 ET street.

And btw, my car doesn't even think about pulling the front wheels.

MIR does great prep so I think if you figure out the launch you can hit 11s. You have the power!!!

Well, had a lot of challenges getting the rear in the car, but finally got it all broken in and got the 28" DRs to fit. Got out to MIR and here's the results:

1st Pass: Dropped the clutch at about 4000 bogged out of the hole - 12.61 @112

2nd Pass: Stepped out of the clutch at 5000-5500, spun a bit felt like clutch slipping), missed 2nd, 12.8s @ 112

3rd Pass: Stepped out of the clutch at 5000-5500, definitely had clutch slip, 12.430 @ 112 (1.75 60')

4th Pass: Dumped the clutch at 5000-5500, mild bog out of the hole, 12.439 @ 113.1 (1.77 60')

So I think I definitely got some work to do on the launch, but it just doesn't look like I got 11s in the current setup. Although, I did have nearly a full tank of gas and I was running with the cats on, so ry again in March without the cats and the proper amount of gas.

Well your 60ft times are better, as well as a slightly better et, and now you dont ever have to worry about tearing up that rear end, so now you just gotta find the best launch combo and you know how fast your car is...

Do you think you were over heating the clutch when you were loading it up??? Or is it possible that with the new traction you need to upgrade to a better one

Every bit of clutch slippage is unused potential...

Good runs, and like I said, you have the achilles heel issue removed so its a win from here on out for you

Well the first run was within 15 mins of arriving at the track after I drove about 40mins to get there. Then the 2nd and 3rd runs only had about 10mins of cool down. The forth run was over an hour cool down and no slippage so I think the heat was a factor for sure but the traction was part of it too I'm sure. It's an LS7 clutch with about 40k miles on it so who knows.

I'll get back out there and take the cats off and see what I can do then. Thanks for the input!
