Do I have a shot at 11s or am I getting my hopes up?

Do I have a shot at 11s or am I getting my hopes up?
Ok, so, my rear broke about 2 months ago and I'm waiting for my new MWC fab 9" to come in and I can't wait to get my car back out on the track, but I'm worried I'm going to be disappointed. I keep telling myself 12.2 is all I should expect, but I can't help hoping I'll break into the 11s, so what do you think, here's my setup:
Last dyno tune on 10bolt w/ 4:11s was: 387/385 (w/ cutout after cats)
Previous best on street tires (275/40/17): 12.53 @ 116.12 w/ 1.96 60'
Major power mods:
TR224 on a 114LSA
Pacesetter LTs
LS6 intake
25% UD Pulley
Cutout after highflow cats
Suspension mods:
Koni 4/4s with Strano springs
Stock sway bars
UMI PHB and SFCs
MWC Parts in route (only about a 10lb increase in weight):
Fab 9" w/4:11 gears, Aluminum centersection, w/ yukon posi (I roadrace and autoX too)
Torgue arm, LCAs, Aluminum driveshaft
Tires will be:
fronts: 295/40/17 (Street tires)
rears: 295/50/16s (27.6" Et Streets)
Track I'll be running at is Maryland International Raceway in November air.
Thoughts?
Also, any thoughts on launch technique? I've never launched an M6 car on DRs was planning on 5500-6500 RPM and dump the clutch.

11's are possible but you'll need a good launch. If you can cut a 1.6 or 1.7 you'll be golden. I would start at 3500 slipping the clutch and then work up from there. You'll have to see what the car does and go from there

Were you just dumping the clutch or did you slip it from 6000?

Hmmm...may need a 2 step, admittedly I wasn't feeling so brave to wind it out too 6400 (my current rev limit) for the launch. I'll play with it a while then when I think I found the right RPM, I'll get the two step.

I have my set at 6000 rpm and makes it much easier to launch its one less thing to think about on the line. Myself I side step it which hit the tires to hard but still got me in the 11s, Then I did a quick dump/let it out quickly and this produce the best 60 ft which was a 1.60. really want to get in the 1.5s just didnt happen that day.

Race weight and D/A matter a great deal. My experience will say a dump at a higher RPM like your thinking will blow the tires off the car, at best expect to Bog. If you get 1.8-1.7 60 foot, consider that a good day and with the cooler air you MAY eek out a 11.998 but you wont know until you get out there.

No not yet, I've just dropped $4,000 on the rear and another $400 on tires...just can't bring myself to spend any more just yet. That'll prob wait until next season. Assuming I deploy, the wifey gets a new blower for her pony when I get home too...so I'll add the two step and line locks then.

A couple of things. A 1.6x 60 foot in an M6 is enough to get some air under the front tires. Making that happen isn't gonna go like: bolt in rear, go to track, drop clutch from 6K, run 11s, go home. It can take a lot of work to make an M6 car act right off the line and can and will take a slick. M6s bust DRs a new *******. My 0.02.
