A4 LS1 vs M6 LS1 w/4.10
M6 LS1 Ws6 with Borla Catback and 4.10 gear
vs.
A4 LS1 Ws6 with 3.23 and Full Exhaust(333rwhp).
(M6 driver is about a 7/10 on the driver scale.)
Who do you think takes the W?

The M6 driver was shitty (without watching a video)....no way he shoulda lost. A stock convertered auto should get beat everytime by a good M6 driver with an equally modded car.

No kidding. My buddy has an M6 Camaro that is bone stock besides 4.10 gears and the car was pulling low 8.2's in the 1/8th. There is no way a stock stall A4 car would run those kinds of times with only an exhaust.

In my 98 trans am fully loaded, I'm sure it weighed more since his was a camaro, with only a loudmouth and lid, zero other mods, ran low 8.4s@84.5mph.. This was also with a less than desirable 1950+DA.
410s would have helped out a bit. If your buddy had a base tune, even shift points rev limiter etc, ls6 intake, ported tb, tires even a nitto, etc etc.. those aren't that awesome of times.
I have raced at least five manuals I can think of, on stretched and track, with similar mods (never more equal at best) and have never been beat either way.
You would have to have a pretty good driver to outrun an auto all else equal.
