Do it! So what if you lose, there's always someone faster.
The '06 run really low 14's at nearly 100mph stock. Get a good launch and I think it will be a good race.

lol i thinks its funny so many people think the mustang is just this almighty god...
i have beat an 2007 mustang gt california edition and jp has beat plenty, were only a 100 pounds heavier. if you do any weight savings and consider the driver weight vs. driver weight, you can be pretty close. plus we have more torque.....
grandprixs have been raping mustang for years....... now we just have a v8 too

Run him and find out.
I've beat quite a few stock 07's on the street, most from a roll at freeway speeds 60-70. If its an 03 with just exhaust you BETTER RACE HIM TWICE!! Once from a dig and once from a roll! He'll probably out launch you but you should be able to reel him up quick. I destroyed a 03-04 gt with exhaust as far as I could see/hear from a 50ish roll.
