Well i got off work wednesday evening had nothing to do because i was sick !
Freaking head cold

So i looked at my TA sitting there covered in polin and decided, what the heck i need to spray it off, So i go to the local carwash and spray her down and afterwards i decide to make a lap around town just to see whos out and about.

Well i make it to the turn around spot and get back out on the main highway and i see a vert stang coming up on my rear bumper so im just crusing minding my own business and they keep getting on my *** all they way threw town so i get alittle

I make it to the other turn around spot which is a lowes food parking lot and i whip in one of the parking spots and motion for the retards to pull on in.

So they wheel in beside me.(two guys older and younger) Then i notice the Cobra badges and what not !

so first thing out the young guys mouth was, is your car fast ? I was like ehhh its ok for a 10 year old car !

and i ask him is yours a GT500 ? He replys yes 2011

So i asked him if they wanted to run ? He replys yea sure !

So i tell them to follow me to our local 1/4 mile place where we have a 1/4 marked off in MEXICO lol

So we get there i pull into the left lane and he pulls into the right lane and i tell him to honk 3 times and we will go on the 3rd honk and he said NO !!!

He said you just go then i will go being all arrogant and cocky

So i said are you sure being a smartass back and he said yeah so i give the shoulder shrug and say OK

So i roll out and kick grab 2nd spin half of 2nd and hit 3rd then 4th and to my suprize the cobra is about 2 or 2 1/2 cars back when we cross the line. so we stop at the end of the highway and the young guy says "i want to try you" and they were making excuses ! so they switch drivers ! old man says "this is my first time driving this car "

So we line back up ! he still wants me to kick first ! so i say ok

so i kick and same out out of the hole deal

i get to the finish line and he is probaly 1 or 1&1/2 cars back

we stopped and talked for a second and they asking me all kinds of questions about my car. Ask me was i spraying ? lol

They were good sports about it and told me i had a bad *** car and i told him the same and they put the top up rolled the windows up and left

Made my week to say the least

Given those as your only mods, I'm going to say your driving skills and knowledge of your car are what won this round. That car should have handed you your *** - I wonder when they were shifting. Regardless, nice kill. Would have been funny to see their faces. Sounds like they were good sports about it.

i wouldnt feel confident going up against a gt500 in my SS unless i had a serious cam and some sticky tires.

Never know whats going to happen in a street race ! I know they were having traction issues but he never gained a bit on the top end !
