What should happen? 2002 Mustang GT vs 2009 Challenger R/T (+ UPDATE)
I posted a similar thread awhile back and unfortunately due to time constraints I was never able to update it. I just wanna say thanks for all the input it was greatly appreciated and that the '97 Mustang won by about five cars! (https://ls1tech.com/forums/dyno-gues...hould-win.html)
The same kid from above sold his '97 and now owns a 2002 GT. What should happen versus a Challenger R/T?
'02 GT: JLT cold air intake, Accufab 75mm throttle body and plenum, Steeda underdrive pulleys, MAC longtubes, MAC off-road H pipe, Borla cat-back, 3,600RPM stall, BC Automotive valve body, 4.10 gears, lowering springs, 18" chrome Bullitts and also wider and stickier tires, I'm just not sure what kind. The car is full weight, fully optioned, and dyno-tuned to 263RWHP/300RWTQ. Runs high 7s consistently on a 1/8th mile track, guessing low-to-mid 12s in the 1/4.
'09 Challenger R/T: Stock with an automatic. Well equipped with a loudmouth kid. No idea on times, never even seen it at the track. The race is happening from a dig, 60 roll, and 80 roll.

I'm thinking the Mustang is gonna RAPE the Challenger from a dig. As far as the rolls go, it really depends how high they go. Once 3rd gear is done in the Mustang, they might as well stop... 80mph rolls (especially in automatic cars that slow) is gay, btw.
