And yes True as well. I guess I was holding back my mph hitting that limiter regardless if i was almost out of track.
Note to self: "SHIFT INTO 4TH"...got it!!!

It really is a question of "what will it run" and "what can you run".
I know my car should have been able to do 12.5s back then, I personally couldn't
Now, I hope it does in the 11s but it still is up to me and I am far from good on the track. Still love to do it, but just terrible

First time out to the track since the last time when I posted this thread.
This time I went to Infineon Raceway...the DA was better, and still only managed a 13.0 @110mph with a 2.0 60 ft on street tires.
With 365 rwhp is that about right??? Or did I have a happy dyno...for some reason I think I should be in the 12's street tires or not...
LS1 Rob made it out and he has an 01 ws6 m6, headers(without a tune), drag radials, and he's a better driver than I am (both manual cars) and he got a 12.6 @ 111 with a 2.0 60 ft I believe.
12's are so close, just a bit disappointed in the car after the cam swap. I know I'm partially to blame going on street tires, but a 2.0 60 ft is as good as it gets on street tires...and still no 12's???

Dude where in the Bay are you from? Haha I feel like I should know you... Haha Are you on Norcal or BAR? Yea Robs pass was pretty good for bolt on only & no tune. I went there couple weeks back & only got to make 2 passes. With my car acting up on the 2nd pass. So I need to go back out & get a lot of passes in. But if I was you Id def get some Nitto NT05R heat up just a lil bit on 20 psi they dead hook! I bogged so much on my first pass because I was only revved at 2k rpm But we should do a run I think it be a pretty dam good run
Anyhow I'll make it out to Infineon at least 1 more time this year. Post on NorCal's infineon gtg section when your heading out.

I post on Nor Cal LSX from time to time. I'm in Sac. Went to infineon this past wednesday and met up with LS1 Rob and BayareaSS and some other people from Nor Cal. Rob's car traps pretty high for being only a LT header car without a tune. He trapped at 111, my highest trap was 110...and I'm cammed...lol baby cam but still.

Perhaps your dyno #s were STD correction which is 10-12 higher than SAE
My C5 M6 is 365/345 SAE...EPS 218/226 w/BBK shorties and home port 241s.
I barely got 12.92 @ 114.34 on the **** *** runflats...2.31 60 ft.
Your 2.0 isn't too bad really. This past wekend I used 265 MT drag radials
which bogged the launch....1.83 60 ft.; 12.29 @ 116.7...shifting @ 6500
and buzzing 6600-6700 through in 3rd gear. Try disconnecting the swaybar
to get more front travel which will help plant the rear. Also remove jack, spare
tire, floor mats, stereo stuff. I've seen people unbolt the pass seat and rears.
Be patient...hitting 110 is still pretty good through manifolds.

i'd guess a cam of that size is comparable to long tubes with regard to power. his ability to drive better (as you state) has a lot to do with it, as well. although, if you were getting 108mph out of a lid/catback car, i think you're doing ok. mine was the same way, after some practice i was able to squeeze roughly 2 more mph out of it. i lift for the shifts (basically because i have to haha) and still trapped 109-110. i'm hoping that removing the factory manifolds in lou of headers + tune will get me around 114.
