Default Whats needed to hang with a LS2?

Curious. My buddy just bought GTO w/LS2. Plans on doing full exhaust this month.

Whats needed mod wise for a LS1 to hang with LS2?

Only thing done to my camaro right now is just a lid, catback,P&P TB..all my parts are sitting in the basement still.

I'm going in the right direction with the mods in my sig right?

If he has the same or less mods than you..NOTHING is needed to hang with him. The weight difference cancels out the gto's .3 more liters. Weight makes a much bigger difference than horsepower

Sorry didn't realize u said in there that he has a full exhaust on his car, in that case with what u have it should be very close, but yes unless u have an ls6 mani he will beat u. They are worth a lot of power over an ls1 manifold.

is your car an m6? if so i don't think you'll need much if anything to beat him, whether he has full exhaust or not.

if you're an auto...you'll most likely get pulled. the ls6 intake manifold only gained 1 mph at the track over my ls1. this was on a bolt-on car, as well.
