Default Guess new track times for the ls1 Chevelle

Old setup:

stock 853 (these had some notably bad casting flash in the runners)
comp 230/224 .57x/.56x 111+3 cam
Fast 90mm intake (mild runner porting), 90mm tb
1 3/4 headers, 3" duals
PB 25% underdrive
stock MAF with 850cfm K&N cone
dyno tuned

built 4l60e, Yank SS3600, 3.42 12 bolt, 325/50r15 MT ET streets

New toys:
hand ported 799 heads, milled .010", stock type gasket
EPS 230/238 .600/.615 113+2 cam
41# injectors
street tuned

Old setup went 7.78@90mph w/1.73 60ft, but same day only ran 12.3@108mph in the 1/4. Found out it had valve float, 2 very very small vacuum leaks, a spark plug was finger tight in the head (was showing signs of carbon blowing around it), and 1 valve stem seal had been leaking a little oil.

I'm really hoping for some 11.6@116mph or better. Going back to the track as soon as I get the injectors in and tuned for. Likely early November.

I am pulling for ya. My new cam should be here end of next week. So, I hope to be testing soon too.

My prediction? Your car should be about as fast as mine. I have better heads and intake with more compression, but you have a bigger cam and converter.
