Thumbs up Mildly Modded LS1

car is an 00 ss vert, got my tax return and ordering parts. Going to get the following parts installed and tuned within the next few weeks:

FTP 98mm lid
85 mm MAF no screen
CAI kit
BBK manifold with 85mm tb
LS6 cam and supporting mods
pacesetters, ory, magnaflow catback

looking for just a fast reliable street car, wont see track time. Any guesses on what ill dyno and also what it would run in the 1/4? street tires for right now, not trying to put too much stress on the rear.

ok so a little change of plans, next week with everything installed the car will have:

slp lid and cai kit w descreened 85mm MAF
BBK manifold w 85 mm tb
Ls6 cam and supporting mods - valvesprings, retainers, oil pump, new timing chain
Pacesetters, catted y and magnaflow catback
asp underdrive and alternator pullies

car will be dyno tuned

would i be near 400? running stock 10 bolt, stock gears and clutch, car will be a cruising/street car only no track time being that its a vert and i dont like the look of a cage

why not just do a lid , stock maf, ls6 intake , ported tb and go with a small cam , your doing the work or paying for the cam work go bigger than stock . Talk to one of the vendors , does nt have to be a monster cam either.

z06 cam is bigger than my stock cam correct? i want to keep the car reliable and the z06 cam was only 250 ive heard with supporting mods and tune it can add 30 rwhp by itself

M6 on a dyno jet I say around 370 uaually a full bolt on ls6 will be right around 400 in an fbody however you dont have 243 heads so that will cost you.I myself put down 370 with a crate ls6 on a mustang dyno through an a4 so with a dynojet I'd be right around 385-390...

I think it will be about 370-380 rwhp. Without the cam probably about 340-350rwhp. Only way to really find out is put it on the dyno and see what happens.
