Default Rwhp guess and 1/4 03 cobra

Recently got offered an 03 cobra. It's a vert with the eaton, upper and lower pulley. Says its on 15 psi. Has flow weld ins and an intake. I was wondering what you guys think it'll lay down and what it will do in the 1/4. Thanks

Ironically I just raced a 03 Cobra very similar to the one you're describing. He ran a 11.4 @ 119 with a 1.77 60ft.

I mean im familiar with cobras so if have a particular question ask away. Cobras are pretty simple to mod up, port the blower and 500rwhp with ease but the eatons get heat soaked bad. The verts weigh couple more hundred pounds then the coupes. The stock motor is pretty much bullet proof. The parts for a mod motor or cam install is alot higher then the lsx stuff.

I had an 04 Cobra with a 14 pound pulley, cat back and a CAI. It made 430 RWHP.

Lol ive seen em break numerous times so i dont recommend hard launches at the track but ive seen few that hold up. I wouldn't trust it tho.

Damn lol I was thinking about getting a wrinkle because those have worked well with the stock Gto rear end. My plans if I get it are full exhaust shifter lowered styling bar and ported blower. Maybe e85

Here is a pic of my brothers old cobra with the mods u want such as lowered styling bar and everything except this one was kb2.2 and n20. The styling bar we did ourself in a couple hours and install wont to bad. If u get the the one with the brake light in it warn anyone in the back seat cuz u will be blinded lol. We also lowered it ourself by just removing the springs and cutting them which is what id recommend to do on a vert i heard.

One of the weakest parts of the driveline in an 03 is the stock input shaft which is 10 spline......yes ten lol. Flip a coin on each hard launch and thats your odds most of the time. Luckily a 26 spline input shaft is around $350 and you can do it the same time you upgrade the clutch.

I agree with the above, pullied cobras range from 430rwhp-490ish. Make sure it has an upgraded heat exchanger as well.
