I'm racing an acquaintances 2012 5.0 this friday.

His car:
2012 Mustang 5.0 6-speed

-exhaust
-handheld tuner
-3.73s

my car:
02 Corvette
-Cold air intake
-LTs/ X-pipe hi-flow cats
-exhaust
-handheld tuner
-3600 stall
-3.42s
-MT drag radials
-minor weight reduction (no passenger seat or rear cargo panels)

I raced a buddies stock 5.0 with 3.73s and beat him by 3+ car lengths from a roll, what're the chances of me beating this one from a roll? I'm convinced I'll drag him at the track, but he wants to play on the way there as well.

from a roll I think he will get you unless I severely underestimate Corvette aerodynamics, how much depends on how good your converter is

at the track it won't even be close if you come close to hooking

I think he's going to pull on you from any speed roll, but I think you have an advantage from a dig.
