Assume same driver for both cars I guess...what would be faster from a dig/roll.
2013 Challenger SRT8 - stock, street tires, 5 speed auto, 18 speaker option
1999 Formula - Lid, ARH 1-7/8 headers, ARH ORY, Borla exhaust, Poly MM's, UMI SFC's, UMI PHB, BMR LCA's, Founders STB, A4 with FTI 3500 stall (2.35 str), trans cooler, stock 2.73 gears, street tires, tuned by Andrew at CSP

your 2,73s are going to kill you , i think you will lose, and from a roll its what speed you start at that may or may not help . I think the challenger will have you .

What he said, if you had at least 3.23-3.42 gears I would say it would be close, you'd prob inch him out, maybe.
But those 2.73s are damn awful and being a 2013 this is a 392 car. Changing your gears should be your next mod.
Roll would be best.

Did you guys miss his 3500 stall? Op from a dig if you can get a good hook then I think you'll eat him alive he makes more power but won't be able to to make up for your launch in a stall. From a roll I think you may get the jump on him but his weight comes less into play from a roll and I think he'll eventually reel you in and pass.
Bottom like I think at the track you would et better, but he would trap more. Autos are awesome for digs and the track but the roll is a different story

I know this much my 2008 300srt8 with bolt ons and tune went 12.79 at 111.9 my daughters full bolt on 2000 Camaro with 3.23 gears was dead from a dig and a roll. If auto stick is used correctly in the srt8 cars where they just leave it in a gear and let it upshift on its own are tough from everywhere, mine shifted right at 6400 in every gear on its own after tune. She has a 4000 yank now and I bought a srt8 jeep, I get a big jump but she is coming like crazy on the jeep and from a roll the jeep is dead. She quarters better now also but not by much, jeep is bolt on with tune. Don't underestimate a 6.1 or 6.4 hemi car they make good power.
