Late at night while looking up at the stars I often think back fondly of this post and the OP. And I wonder what happened to that young man, once so full of dreams and optimism. But I guess we are all guilty sometimes of making promises we can not keep, no matter how good our intentions. I don't blame the OP for what he has done to us. Life happens. Things change. People change. But that does not stop my longing for closure, nor does it stop me from thinking about what could have been.
