All Entrants Read This

I made the rules for a reason. It was to come up with a fair and finite set of guidelines that everyone could get behind. With that said I also understand that this competition is only as effective and successful as those that enter the challenge choose it to be(ie entering passes). The only course of action I can take that is both fair and diplomatic is to uphold the rules *unless* there is a majority consensus amongst all entrants to extend the challenge. I want this to be a success as much as you guys want to get your slips in. This is the only diplomatic way to decide on this. I ultimately get the final say for this challenge and any changes that we make, but for this piece I put it in your hands to decide.

This is how we are going to handle it.
-Every entry gets 1 vote.
-If you entered two vehicles in separate classes, you get two votes. see note 1 below.
-If the vote to extend the competition is greater or equal to 19 votes then we will extend the challenge (37 total entries)
-If a registrant does not vote then it's an automatic "No" vote
-The extension period will be decided shortly after voting for the extension has completed.
-You have 1 week from the timestamp on this post to enter your vote.
-If you have to pm, call, txt, facebook other entrants that don't frequent this thread then do so.
-You can change your vote during the 7 day period but all votes are final once the voting period ends.

Also, below is a new rule that all entrants must abide by. There are no votes for this addition.

New rule to default entrants
-If a class has a default entrant at the end of the competition then they are automatically the loser.
-If there are multiple default entrants for a given class then it is up to the discretion of the winner to choose which single person from that pool within that class would be the loser and must abide by all the terms of the losers obligations.

They also have twice the risk, twice the reward, twice the stake. Only seems fair to give them 2 votes to vote as they wish. Voting can be split per your discretion.

That is what I was getting at. NO ONE in the 12s has run. LOL Guitar won't lose the 11s, even with a 12 time because there's still people missing in the 11s. People aren't going to uphold their deal. I can see the issue already.

Amen. I got 3 kids, and just as many excuses as the next guy, and I'm contemplating making the attempt to revisit the track, which is over an hour drive, and a state away.

I think if should just be if you dont run you lose, would be no different then getting to the line and breaking, or not making your bracket.

If you join a challenge and then not follow though on losing I think should be when the person is banned from future events, and we can flame them endlessly.

I've never taken my car to the strip, and I'm swinging for 12s on a 180k bolt on lt1, risk sure but wheres the fun with no risk?

Was under the impression that run was before the challenge? Either way, my point is... there's only like 1 or 2 in the entire class that have run and 90%+ haven't.
