I take anything you say or post with a big grain of salt. You do it for youtube publicity. I can run 13s all day without being half the *** you are in the 10s.

It's all good man. It only took you 4 more cylinders, 145 more horsepower at the wheels, and running at one of the fastest tracks in the country to beat my SUV by less than a tenth of a second.
You should be proud!

12.04 @ 115.71 - ******* short shifted twice and as soon as I did it I thought "Yep, that's probably gonna hurt me". Had to get gas then track went to ****. Sigh. The 1/4 tracks here aren't prepped very well. Today it was okay then track just got bad with all the street cars. There's a great 1/8th track and another one opening up that should be ******* awesome...but can't get a 1/4 slip. Sigh.

I went 12.8 on radials I think lol. It's been a solid 12.3 car and went 12.1s all day yesterday. Previous best before that was 12.19. Of course that's high 12s to the Hio crew, so you know. But it's a Moser 9" with 3.90s, torque arm in 2nd from top, BMR LCAs (non adjustable) and Koni yellows set at 50% firm/soft yesterday (right in the middle) which helped a lot. I am honestly not sure what the pinion angle is set at but do need to check that. Launch was a 5k clutch dump at 17psi hot on the QTPs, 26x11.5.

From my expereince and speaking with many guys in heads up classes that:
good prep: go tighter on the shock settings
bad prep: go softer
kinda the same with tire pressure:
Good prep: higher psi
bad prep: lower psi
As far as PA make sure you measure it with someone in the drivers seat. If you have all rubber bushings you set it at -3 to -4*. Urethane bushings set it at -2 to -3 and all soild bushings -1 to -2.

Hoosier QTP's are comperable to the MT ET's, but some people think they are better and others think they are worse. I'm not sure as I haven't used both. My buddy has had better luck with the MT's over the QTP's, but that is the only feedback I've gotten on them.

Oh ok gotcha. Not that familiar with Hoosiers but QTP's are like ET Streets right? Why so high on the psi? I used to run BFG and Nitto DR's and always put them at 16psi hot.

Everything I've read they are much better. I've only had one person tell me different locally...and all I knew from him was "he doesn't like them" - haven't really asked much else. 90% of forum posts you read praise them over ET Streets.

Not sure of the history between those two, but coming from the outside, his condescending remarks about him being the best driver in the world were uncalled for. Which is the reason I even said anything. At the end of the day the other guy was faster than him. Who the **** cares why or how he was faster?
