Hey everybody,
I ran my 99 formula for the first time back in May, and had two nearly identical passes back to back. The results were..
Pass 1: 12.57@110, 1.830 60 ft, 8.114@86.56 in the 1/8th
Pass 2: 12.57@110, 1.831 60 ft, 8.095@86.36 in the 1/8th
My mods at the time consisted of TSP 1 3/4" headers and ORY, Magnaflow catback, a Yank SS3600 stall, and a 229/232 .614/.575 cam.
The passes were all made on hankook street tires with 30 lbs of air, and the car still had the stock LS1 intake and TB, all completely stock suspension, and the factory 2.73 gears.
The car was shifting at 6400, and I was told that the cam would fair a lot better seeing ~6700-6800 RPMs.
My question is, how much would you guys imagine my car picking up if I was able to get my tuner to raise my shift points to 6700, and adding an LS6 intake, along with a set of MT Drag radials, and assuming the DA remains the same on my next trip to the track (~1600 DA)
With street tires I've been launching at 1500, trying to flash the stall from an idle just resulted in spinning, so I assume the DR's would be worthwhile to improve my 60ft times, right?
Any and all advice/thoughts are appreciated!
