Default EAP Engine Model

Hi, sure I could do a good job using EAP.

The accurate port "flow" numbers make a large difference in the model.
Could you provide that data ?
The exhaust, the primary tube diameter and length are very important.
Could you provide that data ?

This I do without charge due to my large "data base", ADD the fact of a future sale, a good service in my book.

Lance, BTW the Engine Stroke ?

Welcome to the forums.

I think the intake will hold things under or right around 500rwhp. That intake beat the LS6 intake in HotRod magazine's 20 intake test, but on what I can only assume is a 383 stroker, I think it is too small to give you anything past 6000rpms.

The SLP heads commonly make around 420rwhp on stock displacement LS1's. They will do fine on your 383 with a better intake, a TBSS intake or fast102/102 would definitely be a better match for your displacement.

I think you're in 430-450 territory. I find 383's tend to make similar peak power as their 346 equivalents with a bit more torque and a lower peak hp rpm. The cam you picked will help, cause it is on the larger side.

Just looking at that intake, in the test, it really is not much better than the ls6. It looks like the only time it was ahead was in the upper rpms & only by a few hp. Ls6 makes better tq. The speedmaster intake was also tested with a 102mm TB. While the ls6 was a 78mm. As stated a better manifold would surely benefit you well.

How is the exhaust set up? Y-pipe, true duals, pipe sizes, along with the headers?

Of coarse depending on how well the heads are. I didn't look it up but your compression is maybe around 11:1?

From what we have now I would guess around the 430-450 area also. All depends.
