Default What will she run 2002 T/A WS6?

OK first post here, so I just bought this built car and will be going to a test and tune at the Atlanta Dragway next week.

I have been doing some testing out on open roads and she feels really good. It feels like she is running mid 11's maybe high 11's, but his is just based on some cars I personally built in the past.

Here is the build:

Dyno Session Report> 449.8HP Engine / 391 Max HP 5950 RPM

(Car was never tuned for max power, for the PO wanted the drivability on the streets.)

PRC LS6 Heads 2.02 / 1.57 111 LSA .675 Dual Springs
TSP Torquer V3
Circle D 2C Convert
Long Tube Headers

A4 trans was built with Sunshell, Shift Kit Corvette Servo, 28pt Sprag and Cooler

Car has been lowered Strano 1.2" Springs w? Koni 4/3 Sport Shock Set

Nitto 555R Drag Radials on Rear.

The car hooks up well, but I know there isn't anything like having a time slip in hand for the proof of the 1/4 mile.

Tech is going to ask me what it runs, and I will say I don't know, but I will be booted from the track if it runs in the 11's without a roll bar. That use to be the case at Atlanta, but not 100% sure if that is still the case.

Thanks in advance for your past experiences!

If you can get it to dead hook on those 555r's (which need a lot of heat in the burnout ) you will be in the 11.5 - 11.8 range. I would just tell the tech you just got the car and are hoping for low 12's and see how many 11 second passes you can get in

I agree with above. 555r's need a good burnout to stick. I don't feel I ever truely dead hooked with my 364/360 with SS3600. Toyo TQ's, yes but not 555r. I'm guessing mid to high 11's. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Do you feel 18psi would be a good pressure on the rear tires, for the track?

It is probably a good starting point but I think you are probably going to end up at around 16 psi
