LS1 with LS6 heads/cam/intake is basically an LS6.

So LS6 with ory, headers, exhaust, lid.

Yes on my 2002 trans am ws6 im planning to put 1 7/8 speed engineering lt with ory , also i have the gmmg catback exhaust, like about how much hp can i get with all that setup basically ls6 h/c/i and full bolt ons. I would go with another cam but its gonna sound too loud so im just thinking to put a ls6 cam.

i would say still too mellow. specs 207/220 dur w/ 571/578 lift. your leaving some power on the table. call a few vendors but i think 228 will be great power with great drivability. (since you have an m6) i believe the ls6 cam specs are 218/204 dur w/ 550 lift.

Basically i want something that would sound mellow more like stock i dont really like the choppy sound , plus i have the gmmg catback which is loud plus lt and ory thats max on sound, i dont want it to be louder than that. I know the 228 will sound lil choppy and louder too so thats why maybe the lpe gt2-3 would be a good setup with good #s on hp, what u think? My goal is at least to get 400rwhp

just my one cent, if you want 400 rwhp dyno then get the 228. if you want smooth as stock idle & you dont plan on running over 6k rpm then choose one of those mellow / mild cams. an alternate cam is the 224 proven performer.
