Default Just for fun! Guess dyno numbers for my current build!

Should have my motor back next week from the machine shop. I'm curious what the motor will end up putting down once its all said and done. I had a goal of 450 rwhp in mind, but know that a lot of things effect the numbers. I'm more worried about getting to 11.50's NA, dyno numbers are just for fun lol.

Build is shown in my signature, but just to recap unless i ever change it.

Stock 346, New pistons rings, ARP rod bolts, All new rod, main, cam bearings
230/236 .620/.603 112+2. Cam motion core specced by Martin S.
Advanced induction 243's 226cc lightly milled(.005-.007), should be 64cc
.660 springs with titanium retainers, morel 5315's, trunion upgrade
JP racing billet timing chain, Hubbard racing ported/polished LS6 oil pump
.040 Cometic gaskets to bring compression up to around 10.9-11
Fast 92/92 Unported
Racetronix pump with hot wire kit
42lb GTP injectors
85mm Delphi MAF
Volant Intake
25% underdrive pulley
1 7/8" Speed engineering headers, ORY, SLP LM2
Automatic trans with Yank SS4000
3.23 Stock 10 bolt

Unfortunately no dyno numbers before the heads and cam. Just curious to see everyone's thoughts. If all goes well i'm hoping it will be on the road in April, so i'll make sure to update the thread when my numbers roll in.

Can't wait to see what it does!!

I'm in the middle of my h/c/I and bottom end rebuild and we have very similar setups. Very curious what you put down

What heads and cam are you running? I found a very similar build to mine searching old threads.. it was a 230/236 with AI 243s and he put down 470ish rwhp, which is crazy.. shortly after a valve kissed the piston.. kind of surprised that happened but not sure if it stated how much the heads were milled or what style gasket was being used.. should have had plenty of room.. I have over .100 with .040 cometics milled .005-.007 on the heads

Here is the link to the build.. I'm not even sure if this is an A4 or M6.. lot of fine details not mentioned.. all I know is if I hit anything over 450 I'd ecstatic lol

Our numbers should be pretty close then. Im hoping to have my motor back this week.. once I get it running and it seems to be OK, I'm going to do my fuel pump and hot wire kit and then go get it tuned. Worst case I'm hoping I'll have some numbers late April.

Did you cut a trap door for your pump? How was running the hot wire kit?

No I didn't, I'm changing my gears back to the factory 342s so I just pulled the rear out and dropped the tank. Haven't done the hot wire yet, will probably do it after work today looks easier than the pump though. Then I got a tubular k member to tackle.

That will propbably be the longest part for me is cutting the hole. I've always wanted to get into some weight reduction and do tubular front end items, but always rip through my budget before i get to that point lol. Your car should run pretty strong at the track with your set up and some weight reduction.

I would love those numbers! Thanks for throwing a guess out there! Feel like I need to put money on who guesses correctly to get more people guessing lol
