Horsepower help?

I have a 1998 Firebird Formula 6 speed. It has long tube headers, dual filter air intake feeding from the nostrils, no muffler, and a tune. The guy I got it from had no idea how much horsepower it makes. He guessed 340 to the wheels, so somewhere around 350-360 to the crank. My friends all seem to think it easily makes 400 to the crank and around that much to the wheels. Any opinions/information/guesses? Thanks!

All LS1s make about 345-350hp stock at the crank. The difference from the earliest model years to the latter years is no more than about ~10hp.
With LT headers, full exhaust, cold air kit/air lid and a proper tune, you should be at 380-400hp at the crank (assuming everything with the engine is fresh and in proper working order). RWHP will be harder to estimate as factors relating to the drive train and type of dyno will have an impact.
