stripped means that the factory clearcoat (which becomes cloudy and dull looking over time) has been stripped off, so it's bare polished aluminum, like tt2's or the like. harder to keep clean but ultimately shine better when polished.

Interested in a trade? I have 18x9.5 Black c6's with a polished lip wrapped in michelin pilot xgtz4, tires have about 9,000 miles on them. Wheels are not perfect theres minor curb rash on 2 wheels. Let me know if you are intereted!
