I'm feeling a win again tonight, 5-2.
That works too

This is very interesting now. Do they finish tonight or do they wait until Wednesday?

Well, they have to complete the game from the bottom of the 6th, and they will finish it as soon as they can. Supposedly the weather is going to be worse tomorrow than today, and I can't see them finishing tonight.

Too bad the game didn't get called after the bottom of the 5th. The Phils would have been leading, and the game and series would be over.

I would be furious if the game ended and the Phils won. Phils fans would never hear the end of it. Its enough that we wont hear the end of how the umpires have been making bad calls. I would rather see them finish it out, they have come this far.

I agree. I would of been pretty upset if they won by default. Thats definitely not the way to win. Guess we'll have to wait till tomorrow and see how things turn out.

So would have the entire Phillies organization.

It was cold, wet and I was tired. I had on two Phillies sweatshirts, a jacket, my Howard shirt, a long sleeve shirt, two pairs of socks/pants.... and I'm still frozen. The only good part about tonight was hanging out in the front office and brushing shoulders with Pat Gillick, Dallas Green, Ruben Amaro Jr. and waiting for the traffic to ease up.

I'll be back again tomorrow night (if they play).

lol, I said the same thing on another board. God really has it out for this city

I'm glad they postponed it, I didn't want to see them win it like that. I'd rather them can the idea for tonight and just play it tomorrow night. The weather won't be getting better.

You know, one thing pissed me off about Buck and McCarver last night, they were whining for the Rays saying they couldn't use the speed that got them to the world series....um...I guess the rain didn't any effect on Hamels? It didn't have any effect on the Phillies defense? Please. Both teams suffered due to the horrible conditions. That game should have never seen the 6th inning.

I didnt want to win like that either but ya know, it was kind of conveniant that MLB waited as long as they could to give the Rays enough chances to come back and tie the game up. the game should've never gone past the 4 inning when it started coming down hard.

Buck and MCCarver are tools...ive said it time and time again. yeah, cause the rain had nothing to do with the Rays getting that last run in the 6th so it didnt effect the defense.

thats ok cause the longer they push back this game the more time Hammels gets to rest and if by chance this thing goes to a 7th game, guess who's gonna take the mound?!?!!? at this point...they finish off game 5 tommorrow night or even thursday...fri will be the travel day...saturday for game 6 will be 5 days rest for him so they may even use him than.

either way, we got hosed yet again...****** Philadelphia sports...
