Default Yes....11s

Well it was only a matter of time with the air getting colder. First pass 12.04@112.40 1.67 sixty ft., next pass must have had water dragged up to the line flashed the converter and up in smoke which never happens but.....came right back around since I was pissed and they let me go again I was in the slick tire lane (not alot of cars) and got behind a nice big fat slick car and got in the sweet groove and flashed the converter again and 11.95@112.94 1.65 sixty, niceeeee! Ran again and 12.01....close! Ran one more time and hooked great but something felt a little funny in the front end so I got out of it. I have to check it out today not sure if a lug nut came loose or something wrong with the skinnies. Never ever had any issues as my car always tracks straight. Some one said maybe I got some air and had the wheel turned a little and that could have been what I felt but I don't think getting a whole 1" of air would feel like that would it? I don't have any expierence with that stuff like the fast guys ha ha. Anyway it did feel great and I'm sure I'll do it again in even colder "magic" air in november.

Great times, Its been damn cold in CT, I am sure the DA was in the negative. Your MPH will indicate that based on what you run at other times given the same mods and race weight.

Having a good prepped track is another factor, cutting 1.65 60's is an giant step forward in the world of speed. I wouldnt give many more of those to the 10 bolt before it gives up the ghost, then put in a aftermarket rear and if you change nothing, it will go slower. I know, I have been there. But as long as there is good enough prep to yield a similar 60 foot, given the air quality, you can def be in the 11.80's GL!

Just wish I could get the relibility of a 9" in the weight of the 10 bolt and not spend 5,000$ lol.

Awesome runs! Time to update the sig!

What tires are you running, btw? Also, what does the car weigh? Trapping 112 without even headers; I bet it's pretty light.

Thanx man, I know I have been lucky so far with the tranny and 10 bolt since I have about 300 passes on the car in the 3 yrs. that I have been running it. And I hope you can get down here and run at atco your car would be well into the 11s!

Thanx, I have weighed it at englishtown it was 3640lbs. with me in it and I,m 200lbs. so 3440 isn't a stripper but still not heavy. Trapping 112 has to be be the air, but the skinnies definatley make a big difference. I run MT et drag radials they are awesome! The best part that makes it special is that I still do not have headers.

True, he's knocking right on my door with stock manifolds and cats and his raceweight is higher than mine was as well!
He should see a high 11.8 before the year is out and with headers, a retune and a little weight removed the car could go 11.6s in this air even with 3.23 gears.

Definitely going to run 11.8 by the end of the season. After headers and a retune, definitely 11.6

Yea, My LT1 383 went a 3 seasons and it had over 100k on it when I started racing it, the combo never had a properly matched stall and gear. Call it the learning curve and a ODB1 stall wall issue..... ugghhhh.

I gotta get some stuff on this car to settle it down, it leaves so violently and its slamming on the rear.
