My new noise maker!!
This is money that could have went towards the car,,but I almost don't care anymore. I recently bought a new guitar( Ibanez RGR421EXFM) about 3 months ago, traded my Peavey 5150 combo amp and got a Line 6 amp. Now 3 months or so later I decided it was time for another guitar.LOL!!! I've been wanting a 7 string for awhile so went ahead and ordered one online from Guitar Center. They sent a 10% off coupon in the mail so I had to use it of course!!! Since Ibanez's current 7 string thats out right now kinda sucks I ended up getting a Schecter C-7 Hellraiser. My only complaint which I knew ahead of time about the guitar is the neck is big. I know a 7string neck is wider but this thing is just a bit on the bulky side.
This is the Ibanez I was talking about.

If anyone on here has a 7string guitar,, what are you tuning it too? Is your 7th string in A? Thats how mine was tuned when I got it. Actaully the 7th string was in " A flat" and then E flat,,,etc,,,,. Also what guage strings are you using? I just put on the Ernie Ball "power slinky" .11-.58 gauge.

Thanks,,,Yeah well I've been playing for a couple years now and I'm still not that great. I pretty much taught myself. I took lessons for about a year but didn't have my heart into it though.Kinda hard to wanna go to lessons when your instructor is teaching you stupid **** like "Mary had a little lamb" LOL!!!!!! It's good to play with other people as well,, you pick up on things. Thats one thing I should have been doing,,, I always played by myself and didn't really challenge myself enough at it. So now I wanna take lessons again.
