Maryland Inspection With No Cats?

Maryland Inspection With No Cats?
Hey guys, I am looking at a 98 Z28 but it has a full exhaust with no cats. Now, I know it is fairly easy to get it through emmisions if I delete the o2 codes. But my worry is about inspection. Will it pass inspection with no cats? And if it will not pass inspection, how much am I looking at in-order to put cats back on it?

well i dunnno how it works down there but why dont u just take it to some rinkidink shop or someone that you know that does state inspections and toss them fifty to pass it ... thats what we do up here ... providing all the codes are clear ... but i dunno if they do inspections at private shops and gas stations down there

Ya, emissions seems easy to get through..lol. It seems just about anything can get through emissions with the codes turned off, I was just really concerned about inspection and wasnt sure if they really cared or not. But now I have my answer. Thanks again.

Take it to the emissions place on Ordenance Rd. Now, I have cats on my exhaust system, but the rear O2's are deleted out and give a "ready" message when scanned. They never looked under my car, and the cam was loping pretty good that day, and my exhaust stunk up the joint......If my car can make it through without a visual, I wouldnt be worried.
