WHAT'S NEXT
The Washington Township zoning hearing board will continue hearing the Ronald Wallace case 7 p.m. Jan. 14 at Kralltown Elementary School, 21 Creek Road.

The update is right there in the article..../\ /\ /\ /\

Why don't we try to plan a gathering/meeting spot for a cruise with a our cars (weather permitting of course) to the school and be there to support him.

does anybody know a way to contact the guy that is petioning for the track. i'm all for supporting him and would love to show up to back him but i wonder if 50+ loud *** cars showing up to a meeting full of people that are bitching about noise is gonna hurt his case more than it would help. if you guys are gonna cruise up there i'm in, i just hope it helps him out

i'm sure we can keep it civil for 10 minutes while close to the meeting. we should probably talk to him though. and as long as we keep the ricers out of the cruise it wont be too loud.

Is this a 1/8th mile track? Article says it's on 34 acres, that's not much when you think about the race track, shutdown and pit.

I guess that really all depends on how that 34 acres is laid out.

I don't know how big it is going to be. But I know a guy from American speed in york was at the last meeting I think and he said it was packed and that the only thing that happened was the guy that owns the land and wants to build the track laid out his case. They didn't even have anything from people in favor or oppostion yet. I imagine that this is going to be drug out over several meetings.

might as well show the area the interest it will bring. i'm sure their idea of "street racers" are something like that of vin diesel. what self respected 40+ year old can turn their head from 50+ V8's and respectable looking gentlemen .

I wish I would be home for this. From what I read in the article, it sounds like the lawyer representing those four local residents came off pretty strong. For those of you going- stand up and make your voices heard! This will either be shut down quickly or as Dan said, battled out over several meetings. Best of luck.

This is never going to happen. The township makes too much money ticketing you guys in York.

Wow I just saw this thread, I dont check the regional board often. Im down for a cruise if we can get details organized. Diablo's plan sounds good if we could get some support.

Read that article too. You would think the area would welcome a sanctioned drag strip. The York "Circuit" area is a huge trouble spot and you would think a drag strip would be a way to lessen the popularity of the Circuit.
