I saw coverage of that hearing the other night on TV.It sure was packed and I'm sure almost everyone was opposed to it.Good luck but I think its gonna be real tough to get approval.I think you need land in the middle of nowhere-with no houses close by.Be nice to have another choice in strips.

Man I wish there was some way to help get all the car people to this thing. If people thought this thing through there would be alot more people for it.
Saves on tax's with it around
Jobs
Gets kids off the street
Reduces street racing
Proposed medical landing pad, camping area, flea market, 1/4mi racing etc. Brings alot to the area IMO.
Anyone know how to get something together for people to sign that are for it to help in anyway? Something official?

One thing I think would also be good is to keep an eye out for these meetings, finding out when and where they are, and then show up with our cars to show our support. I believe one of the things these anti-"fun" people depend on is our lack of communication on our part, it's works for them because we just never know when important events are going on that benefit us and not them.

Yeah maple is great if you only want 2 runs and want to sit in line, although I have always run great times because of track prep and elevation. But I prefer going to say Beaver Springs because you can get dozens of runs, just don't run great times there in comparison.
