Default need competent people,to tune my lsx car

Hi guys and girls, after many years of running coventional small blocks,I have bought my first ls based car. After looking at slohawk and eastside performance,my question is who has the most experience with these combos.

I want it done right and dont mind spending the money,I;m really tired of incompetent people,

I quess im saying ARE THESE THE GUYS TO GO TO,and i dont want to get the run around.

Thanks

I have heard NOTHING but good things about slowhawk. I would love to make the trip someday to have him tune my car.

My car is at Slowhawk's right now getting headers, ORY, LS6 intake, gears and a few other things done + a tune. Don is a very down to earth nice guy and will steer you in the right direction. He will give you honest advice!! You will not find many high performance mechanics like that.
+1 for Slowhawk

Cant speak for eastside but Slowhawks tune helped me win the championship at New England Dragway last season. He takes the time to make sure it is all the way right and will work with you to make sure it is the way you like it. He has tuned as many of these cars as anyone and the experience really shows. Don is a straight up guy.

Eastside built my car, 3 years, 200 + track passes and it still runs like a top, repeats as good as a bracket rail car and doesn't skip a beat.

Don has done some killer builds over the years to no doubting that.

What is it that you want to build? If it's a race setup, especially a nitrous setup ro big n/a setup Eastside is probably one of the best in the country. They've been building/racing the ls platform since the very beginning, and have held numerous ls nitrous records over the years.

Ken is back to doing all of the work on the cars and all of the tuning as well.

Hi JL
The car is a camaro origional slp car ls1,6 speed, loaded,48 thousand miles, im the second owner, the car has frame connectors, kooks headers, 3.73 gears, whisper lid,3'' exhaust, magnaflow cats, short stick,

ITs only used by me not very often, I do not intend to race the car,NO NITROUS,maybe a procharger but do not want to hurt the cars origionality,You more than likely know what happens when someone sees a blower on the car[ its been beat].I just want to keep the car nice.

Thanks guy's.Through the years I've met alot of good people here and was lucky enough to work on there cars.

Really depends on what you want done.We can do basic stuff to stroker/FI builds and I'm a fan of fast street cars, less into pure race cars.Just shoot a call or stop by and we can easilly go over your plan.

Either shop can take care of what you want to do. A decent h/c setup with a decent sized can would probably suit your goals fine, something that would drive good, and should pick up about 100hp or so when it's done, still n/a

A prochrager setup would put ya probably right at about 500 rwhp, and that's detuned to keep the stock motor together.

When choosing a tuner I like them to be reletivly close so if some needs to be done in a reasonable time frame, I can set it up.

My car is Eastside tuned and I have no complaints, Ken does do good work and like JL said has built some serious cars that have put up a #. There are other sponsors depending on where you lived in MA, NJ, PA ect ect.
