I'm another "racist" who would have voted for Condi Rice in a second. Not because She's black but because she is brilliant and accomplished.

Cant wait till he closes Gitmo and lets all those poor misunderstood victims of American opression onto the streets of America with the best lawyers you could never afford paid for by the ACLU and dem party. Only Justice I see is at least the terrorists will strike the same liberal big cities that voted this clown shoe into office.
Very well said.

Still don't see anywhere where anyone called anyone else racist. I didn't know Michelle Obama was the new president...weeaaaarrdd...

Right 40 million people who pay no income tax, that's why he won...and don't forget the millions of people around the world who don't pay their tax's, or maybe they like him because he's such a celebrity, yeah that's it, I mean all those tears shed around the world, that was the cool-aid, because abviously that's what it's all about, that he's hip and cool right? That's why everyone voted for em, sarah palin wasn't cool enough?

I'm so f--king happy because all these ignorant replies, all this bullshit, all this **** talking, doesn't matter anymore, because the elections over

I missed it. But I still want to know what people think about Joe Biden not things he has said in the past but what he can do for our country. Everytime I browse these threads its strict obama and nothing else so just want to see some thoughts outside the box.

Just to emphasize your great point with some more facts.

The link shows a drop of the Dow by 10% days after NOBAMA was elected on Nov. 4th and continued to drop another 10% the following week. World markets also fell similarly. The 4% drop you listed above was the LARGEST drop in the market in US history on the day of an inauguration. The second largest was when LBJ took over JFK's role. The market is NOT drinking the kool-aid either.
Pelosi scares me more than anyone, she is a dirty C**T.

Biden was fun to watch in the debate, he is very passionate and well spoken. I think he is clearly fully qualified to be president should the need arise.

While your at it, here's some more fun misleading facts: http://money.cnn.com/2008/11/24/mark...york/index.htm

Dow's biggest 2-day run since '87

Citigroup rescue and Obama economic team picks propel stocks. Dow sees its biggest two-session point gain ever and biggest two-session percentage gain in 21 years.

Additionally, the combination of Citigroup's rescue and Obama's news shows that both the current and incoming administrations are being active in dealing with the economy. This was a relief after worries last week that there was a lack of leadership in general.

Stock goes up, Obama had something to do with it, stock goes down when they always do during the presidential inauguration, again it's all Obama's fault. I can find a lot more misleading example's same as you, stocks have held up really well and the last time they went down into the 7k range they did a huge rally, it's weard I know, the stock market just tends to go up and down like that... It's all obama's fault...

I bet you won't point out when stocks go back up in a few days though...it's just ironic because just yesterday the stock market was up nicely with all the media saying it's due to Obama's transition as the crowds were gathering in Washington.

I understand your thought. IMO though, most politicians are wealthy from education and hard work or just handed down through the years(like the Kennedys) and there is nothing wrong with that but, they lose touch with the common man on how bills are going to be payed or health care costs and the such. When money is no longer an issue, power and dominance is the only thing left for this group of people to achieve. To gain power, they pander their agenda to whom ever will get on board with their ideas. How many presidents have said this, this and this when campaining and did nothing of the sort? Just a theory, nothing more. I think Biden was given a back row seat when he got mouthy during the campaign. Didn't hear much from him after saying Hillary was more qualified. I love my counrty but, distrust the Government if that's possible.

It's more than possible, I think that's the great thing about America, we don't let our government get away with just anything, we can hold them responsible. As much as I hate republicans right now it is our system of checks and balance's is great and I don't think it would be a good thing if the republican party went away altogather, not just yet anyway we need checks and balances but only as long as things can get accomplished and there isn't total gridlock like there was the last few month's before the election was over.

Dimitri,

In my opinion Alex is very open to everyone's opinions and ideas and thinks very clearly from what he mentions. Is he a little hot headed, surely. However, this is because he feels strongly on his view, and exemplifies the view he makes.

Is that not what the freedom of speech is for????

Or is that just ANOTHER right this country has taken away from us. You want a real winner in the white house, choose the one that's going to GIVE US BACK OUR RIGHTS

Errr wtf does freedom of speech have to do with this? Am I in someway not allowing him to spew his ideas? No, by all means, spew away.

C'mon, you can't seriously think that Mcaine and the "business as usual" approach would be better for the economy/ healthcare right now and that is where it really hits home to alot of peeps.
Mark, we talked about this the night of the election. Obama is not qualified to lead anyone, he has no experience. The man was asked where the bathroom in the Capitol building was and did not know, simple because in his stay as Senator, he voted "Absent" more then Yes/No combined. He is an empty suit that the Democratic party propped up there because he speaks well. Adolf Hitler spoke well also. Very Well...

Republicans by definition are not liberal. And when they try to give tax breaks to you, they do not do it at the expense of those more well off then you. If someone has the ability, be it mentaly, phisicaly or which ever to make more money then you, it should be the right of that person to keep that money. Because THEY MADE IT! NOT YOU! Taking from the rich just because they have, and giving it to the poor simply because they have not, is not the solution. Id destroyed The Soviet Union, and it will destroy this country. Not to mention the fact that this country was not based on Socialist or Communist principals. If you want Communism, move to China. You will see how wonderful it is.

Voting for Obama because he will take from your boss and give to you is a very selfish and shortsighted reason. Sure you will be happy at first to have more money, but when your boss fires you because he can not afford your salary due to his higher taxes... what then? Oh wait, Fear not! All the other tax payers will chip in to pay for you since this is communism and will will take more to give to you. The circle continues until we are all waiting for bread in 2 mile long lines.

But hey, we got CHANGE!

That way there are less children born to parents who can not take care of them, and my tax dollars wont have to go to feeding them.

When it comes to the economy, im past right wing, as Mark said, Im "Fascist" though that is not the right term.

Government should have nothing to with business aside from protecting the consumer from harm. I hate unions with a passion. The market will balance its self out. Simple supply and demand, simple cost and demand. No stimulus package in the world will ever do what the market can do on its own.

Quick search from google: http://www.gallup.com/poll/106381/Ob...-Election.aspx

Barack Obama leads John McCain by a significant margin among voters with the most education, but trails the likely Republican nominee among voters with the least formal education.

The "ignorance all over the world" you say, did you ever stop to think...no nevermind...
Ignorant has nothing to do with uneducated. Through out school, I have seen many many MANY well educated people who are complete ignorant *****... and they love people like Gore and Obama. Try to argue with them, and you are labled a right wing nut job, try to say Obama is a jerk-off and you are instantly a racist. That is ignorance, and that is what got him elected.

Not to mention that blacks voted for Obama simply because he is black. 99% for Obama.

In a funny bit, Sal "The Stock Broker" on the Howard Stern Show went to Harlem, and asked blacks on the street if they would vote for Obama while siting McCaine's policies on taxes, welfare, homeland security, and so on. When hearing Obama's name, even though it was fallowed by McCaines campaign promises, blacks in Harlem overwhelmingly said they would vote for Obama. That is ignorance at its finest. And once again, ignorance got him elected.
