It all depends on how much time during the two weeks you work on your truck. Two weeks is plenty if you have the parts.
woops, forgot to mention the time frame he has. He would work on it monday to saturday from 12-5pm . So roughly like 60 hrs than.

sorry i probably missed it but u got the rx7 with the lsx motor to pass emissions?

Yes. 03 zo6 cam, 6.0 truck heads, headers, dual 3 inch no cats. It passed by alot. All the emission specs were less than half of the max. My car polluts less than my truck.

reason i was asking was i didnt know how much of dicks the dmv dudes were with us doing the motor swaps. I mean i did mine hoping and praying that i would pass, lol...april 15th is d-day...

Though when i got my wiring harness made up, i asked for every emissions thing possible on it. So i hope i am in the clear.

Did they hassle you for the cam/exhaust db's? And which one did u go to?

They did not really care it had a different motor in it. They just checked for cats, charcoal canister, fuel tank pressure, and emissions, good tires, brakes, lights, wipers, ect. They never checked for egr or an air pump.

They mentioned the decibles when i had the big cam in it but none of them ever actually did a test for it.I went to the one on airport road by the wawa.

damn, i had the guy that did my swap custom make a air pump connection to the top of one of my primaries to have it for emissions, damnit. And i had him fab up on the collector for the egr, damnit! Well that seems good fro me though, lol

And thats the one right off of 273 and or rt13 where the mcdonalds is at the corner of that light?

I just passed inspection in January with my SS! I went to the airport Rd. as well. I passed with black painted front corner, cam, and full exhaust with no cats(ORY)!!

****, did u pay someone? lol...the two times i have gone with my truck when it had the 2.8v6 with a flowmaster 40, the damn guy got on his hands and knees to chekc for my cat, lol....i called him a dumbass becuase he check under my driver side and said getting up, ''doesnt look like u gotta cat''....hhaa Than i told him that usually the cats are on the passengerside, lol

haha, i hear you. Sometimes i ask myself how the hell do vettes hit bumps and not hop off the ground since they are soo freaking low to the ground, lol...


Also, did anyone of us say that they wanted to go to cecil county on the April 25th that we decided on for a meet? Figured it woudl be good to cruise, hangout and drag if u want, than nab somehting to eat later, or bring ****...
