on a sadder note... my car will not be ready...
and since E-Town has gone completly homo, I can't even take pictures w/o a press pass, and they will not give me a press pass unless I have a "letter of assignment" by a press outlet...
******* queers...
I think they are just but-hurt because I take better pictures than the official track photogrophers...

That may be last year but have asked this year?
Last year I was told I needed a pass and this year no pass.
Now the proper way to take of this is first delete your negativism and second just simply ask Barry to ask what you need to shoot photos for the GM EFI series and you should be good.
I have two people that shoot for me and no issues at two races this year.

Not a fan of E-Town, 
tho I do know good people who work there.... Either way, I asked Barry about it last year when I was told I could not go up to the line, and he told me he could not do anything about it.
Shame;
I honestly believe that this is an issue of money to E-Town... The photo guys there pay a fee [I would assume] to have their Photo shop there, and they make money selling pictures. Why would they want me [someone with better equipment, who takes better pictures of his friends, and gives them away for free] to be there? Im sure part of it is a safety issue as well, they don't want hundreds of people standing with $200 point and shoot camera's at the 60' mark, so I can't fault them for that.
But what pissed me off about it last year, is that when I went up to the tower to sign the release so that I can take pictures [as I have a lot of times] I was told I need a press pass, and one of the photo guys, holding a camera with half the resolution of the one I was holding, with a lens that is about 1/3 as sharp, told me "we dont want 100 amatures crouding the starting line" That really pissed me off... Especialy when I know the guy takes out of focus, under-saturated pictures...
Oh well...

i went 9.54 last year 1st race. Its suppose to rain sat?
