Muscle Car Drag Racing at Capitol Raceway, Crofton, MD Sunday May 3d ++++Edit: This event has been cancelled due to weather.++++
This Sunday, May 3rd --- Corvette Club of America hosts the annual Muscle Car Drag Races at Capitol Raceway in Crofton Maryland.
Additionally, Sport Chevrolet of Silver Spring, MD is the club sponsor and will bring their first delivered 2010 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS to Capitol Raceway in Crofton Maryland for the May 3rd event for the general public to see it and watch it make a quarter-mile pass.
This racing event typically draws muscle cars from all over the region but with the new Camaro on display and running down the track it could prove to be a strong turn-out. The weatherman seems to be working with us for Sunday, so hopefully we will have a great day. DA forecast is +300 to +700 feet.
Gates open at 11am – Practice runs start at noon
Eliminations start at 3pm
Classes – 3 for Automatics, 3 for Manual, 1 separate class for cars with electronics
$40 to race (includes all fees)
$20 to enter the car show
Spectators $10
Kids under 12 Free

Event Cancelled Due to Weather This event has been cancelled due to significant rain coming thru the area on Saturday night and Sunday.
It will be rescheduled.
