The wait is over.....
The wait is over..... Today was the Day............................................... ....To buy a GT500.
Found it out of state. Great deal and very easy people to work with. They are overnighting me the paperwork. If everything checks out....I am no more a GM faithful.
Sorry general got sick of waiting for my low vin 2SS. I am glad the car actually took the extra time to come in. It gave me time to think that the LS3 wasn't going to get it done coming out of a much lighter LS2 vette...All good things come to those who wait
. In this case it was in the shape of a GT 500.....
If the car came in a month ago I would be driving it. Who knows if there would of been regret or not but i would of bought it....Now I am 100 % sure I made the right decision.
Oh and I was able to give my car (if it ever shows up) to a close friend of mine who doesn't car about HP....
Now just have to Call JLT and 1100 later we will be rippin.....Sorry General

Nice. 
I do love the new Camaro a lot and I'm not quite as sure as you are that it still wasn't the better choice (all things considered, price difference included) but I've always loved V8 Mustangs and those GT500s are potent as hell.

nice....my buddy has the same color and stripes but his is a vert. with minimal mods (pully, exhaust, tune) made 634rwhp and a boat load of torque. goodluck with it....im sure you'll enjoy it.

Its a very pretty car, Too bad ford went iron for the block with an alum package sitting on the shelf( ford GT), it really screws with the handleing. Still its one of the nicest looking cars on the road. and I would not pass one up

Good call. They're definitely fun cars, I enjoy the blower whine. The scene from "I Am Legend" where Will Smith is tearing it up in NYC is great for the blower whine.
Jay is a good guy, I'm guessing you picked up one of their intake, tune, pulley setups? I'm running their 110MM MAF housing with their RAI and 12" S&B filter. A real dyno tune can make a huge difference on these cars. My setup was tuned by Lund and he picked up a lot of power.
Evolution is a good spot for GT500, they're also where I order all my parts.

Yeah their shop is like 5 mins from mine. Good guys over there. We send each other work all the time. I used to use thier dyno before i got my own.
yeah i know there head fab guy. his name is Joe Gambino and hes been in the biz for a very long time and is very well know at every track on the east coast. the guys are all super nice at the shop and very easy to deal with as far as i can see.

Can't say Id take it over a new Camaro even though its faster but I love the color scheme!! Much better than the 2 white and blue ones I see here. Good Luck with that beauty!
