My car went 9.58 @ 141 and 9.56 @ 142. +3200 DA. Track prep is not so great. No water in the water box! Scaled at 3364. Still a pig.

Weather today looks worse than yesterday. I think I lost 30lbs yesterday.

they picked aq low 9 second class..in fact, Mikey might have been in it...not sure as I bolted after they announced with a 4.5 hour drive ahead of me.

It was hot and humid and we had three rain delays......crazy crowds too.

Fun event, everyone should try to experience at least once.

Have not seen anything posted yet. I literally left after they announced the class ET and the 16 numbers so did not see the cars.

Mikey didn't make it in and no LSx cars made it either. A dark blue 67 Camaro won it over a red S10 truck.

Yep, they picked 16 of the 9.0xx cars. I think my favorite thing was the jet dragster. That was just unreal. 1/4 mile in 3 seconds...

It was fun even though the weather was horrible. I think I found a new diet plan. I'm going to write a book on how to shed 30 lbs in 3 days! I think I lost 10 in the staging lanes alone...haha

I think all the 9.00 cars were big blocks. I'll have something for them in a few more months

Ya i noticed there was no water. Tons of racers were having issues especially tower side lane. I was there spectating all day. Saw your car and lots others from here.

Even though I was not one of the 16, I was picked as a Feature Car. I will be on PINKS OUTTAKES.

That pace car moved out...you definitely took a lot of the crowd by surprise.

Thanks, I was actually not happy but the weather was answer for it running slow. I thought I was going to see a 10.90 this past weekend. OH well. I was happy that I was there and able to race. The DA was over 3,000 and the BP was in the toilet (29.40).

I was amazed to how many people came up to me asking about the Vette. They swore I had a power adder. I later found out that the Corvette's in the area are show/bling-bling cars. I was shocked to hear that. Most if not all the Vette's in the area never race the 1/4 mile.

The racer's at the track don't see newer/late model Vette's racing. WOW, I think the Vette owners that shine and show need a doctor.
