Disconnected air fuel ratio guage and now car runs like shit. Can anyone help?

Disconnected air fuel ratio guage and now car runs like ****. Can anyone help? I disconnected the autometer air fuel ratio meter in my car. I disconnected all the wires and now the car runs and idles like complete ****. I didn't notice anything spliced into the O2 bung. There was only one purple wire that the guage was attached too but I disconnected and reconnected it. I also cleaned the MAF and put a new fuel filter on it. I got code 171 and 151 previously. I have installed LTs,intakes and many more things to these cars but i cannot figure this out and its killing me. Any LS1 guru that could lend a hand i would really appreciate it.
