This is always a great show...but was even better when the cops let you do burnouts.

I actually never went because I always worked Sundays. Is it usually a good turnout? Or just a bunch of ricers?

Yea it's usually pretty good. Yea it was sweet when they let everyone romp on it when leaving, I have a lot of good burnout videos from like 4-5yrs ago! For some reason the one year they let Chesnut street intersection open and a '67 Vette didn't realize traffic was coming through cause there were so many people crowed around watching the burnouts, he did a huge burnout right through the RED LIGHT and right into a newer VW bug. Luckily, he slammed on the brakes before impact, but he still tapped the VW slighty. It was crazy! It was stupid setup though, they should've had the intersection closed down...

I remember that vette, I also got it on video...

HAha yea, I'm remember there was a woman traffic cop standing there "directing traffic" and she just stood there and watched the whole thing happen. Its a good thring she was there to safely direct the cars lol
