Angry Bad news from Doc

Just got some bad news from the Dr...........I can't wear a helmet until the end of NOV maybe a bit longer. My loss is someone's gain. My car is signed up
with no driver. Can anyone handle a 4000 lb 4 door boat with 430rwhp and a CCW drag pack bolted to it that runs 11s ?!?!?! LMAO

I know I'll get a volunteer or two !!!

Hey you just might....Someone's gotta drive this car.

Since I ran the 11.95 the tune has been undated , also added a 3.27 diff [up from the stock 2.92]. Plus a CCW drag pack [bias setup 17x4.5 up front / 16x9.5 ET STREET[26x11.5] out back] so it should hook.

I don't know if I've ever met you but I took the photo of the black Camaro SS pulling the wheels off the ground that Mike P was supposed to give to you.

$10 per run half to winner half to owner. I bet Mike would miss 3rd and be the slowest

Mike, did you send check, or PayPal?
The list gets updated after about every 25 paid spots or so.

If you've paid, you are in...no worries.

That sucks, but I happen to be car-less at the moment, lol...

Regardless, and as an FYI, you can always re-sell your spot, either at the gate, on this or any other forum, or even back on the Superstallions site if need be.

If you choose not to let anyone race your car, your ticket won't go to waste...Everyone who's on the fence right now, will be PMing me in a few weeks asking for help finding a ticket, lol....happens EVERY Spring and Fall rental....

I did the paypal thing on the 15th. So I am guessing I would not show on that last list. FYI I lit the wick on it tonight so all is good I hope.

Question are they going to get a bit upset with all the GM products showing up?

LOL...
That won't be an issue, I assure you.

Actually Mike, I've been to every one since 1999 and there's always been a variety of vehicles racing. Although it's setup and sponsored by a Mustang enthusiast site, there has been zero animosity between this group and all of the non-Mustang/Ford racers. The SuperStallions rentals have always been about having fun, first and foremost. They've also been family oriented for the most part. Nothing like a Friday night rental anywhere...

I think I will actually be the first one that's been a long time member of the SuperStallions site/club, that will have a 2nd generation racer starting this Fall. Since I sold my SS back in late Spring, I'll be handing over my racer spot to my 17 year old son in his 91 Mustang.

I want to thank everyone in advance for their support, and wish every one of you good luck in meeting whatever goals you have for the day.

My boy's goal is to break 14's, but by the smile he had a month or so ago running 15.0's in his stock A4 little 5.0 Mustang, you'd think he's already been making passes in a Top Fuel dragster, lol.

Here's photos from past events to give you an idea of the variety of racers:
(There's 3 pages of photo links...just look for any links to SSOTN or SuperStallions)

Hopefully, Tracy Smith (TRS Photo) will be there doing her thing and getting some awesome pics for us. She always does a great job and offers special pricing on a large selection of launch pics.

Exclamation Important update!!!

Here is a very important update:

(quoted from PAID LIST)

FWIW... The payment cutoff date for mailing is October 27th (postmarked for checks)
and the prepayment cutoff date for paypal is October 30th.
Anything after that will need to be gate payment at an increased rate as normal.
(that is of course the event is not sold out before the event date)
No spots will be reserved or held...

Hooks hard?

Unless you paid the extra money ($$$) to have the entire lanes sprayed, it will only be prepped down to the 60 foot. Then, you 9 second guys better stay home. Before you make a pass, make sure you ask if the lanes have been sprayed to the finish line, or you may be scraping your call off the wall! It's all because of the economy, so make sure you ask!!
