Hey yellow, I would try and ask and give rel3rd cash in advance for the next ticket that pops up. This way he doesnt get stuck holding the bag. And if a ticket doesnt become available just grad your money from him at the track on Saturday.

I'm refreshing every couple of minutes. If something shows up, great. If not, it's not a big deal. Figures, the 30 mins I'm away from my computer today, a ticket shows up and is sold. I would have bought a ticket a long time ago if I had known my clutch was going to temporarily fix itself for the end of the season.

been watching weather for last couple days. been 30% chance of rain for couple days. keeps being upgraded though. if storm moves fast enough we should be ok.

We usually filter out that whole word of what there's a 30% and getting lower, chance of.

FWIW, I actually PM'd the guy who sold the ticket yesterday, asking if I could buy it to help someone out. It was only 20 minutes after the thread was started, and his reply back, was that ticket was just sold...lol.

I know there was at least 4 that changed hands today, so maybe a "TTT" over there might help?

IMPORTANT NOTE concerning the *ain though...Unfortunately, it is Cecil's option of when the makeup day would be, if in fact it did get *ained out...It may be the next day (doubtful), or it may be the following week. Only once has it been *ained out, and the re-scheduled date was one week later...Just an FYI, but any info will be posted here as soon as I get it. But on another note...Cecil makes a LOT of money on these rentals, so if there's any possibility of racing this Saturday, we WILL race! Several years back, there was 3 rain delays, and suddenly at Noon, it was beautiful...it sucked ***** since half the day was shot, but that is the way it is, sadly...

Yeah, he owns a shop in Willow Street. His son has a nasty rail that runs mid 8's too. I use his dyno when I feel like beating the crap out of my truck. I think he has had the Camaro for over 20 years.
