Exclamation

I'm not at Cecil yet, but local weather says it's 53, cloudy, and a 10% chance of rain...

That means CECIL WILL BE OPEN.

Evidently not (I mean the website question). From what I've heard from people that are up there at the hotels, it's damp, chilly and cloudy, just like it is here in Baltimore. I'm not leaving the house until 8:30-9:00 myself.

Just a bit concerned about all the rain and the way water works its way up through asphalt. Have a feeling its going to feel like a friday night in cold weather traction wise.

Lets be careful driving on those not so good street tires on the way down.

Last time we had a day like this, they started out running eighth mile, then about Noon went to full quarter mile racing. It turned out being a great day to race.

Let's hope today turns into a great day to race as well.

That figures. I haven't got to see your car in three years. Let me know the next time you are going to the track.

The plan is for this coming weekend Kris for the street car shoot out @ Cecil. Also 12/5 and 12/12 test and tunes at Cecil. Weather needs to be perfect though.

I lost the rear. Pulled the rear drain plug and got some metal chunks coming along with gear oil...

The weather really made the track garbage to drive on. Just spinning like crazy out of the hole feathering the throttle. I think I lost the rear in the 1/2 shift. After the first pass I thought I heard a noise back there so I knew it was maybe matter of time.

I rolled into it heard a bang and rattle got towed off. Dan and Ande told me to drive it around at the staging lanes and it seemed fine. About a 1/8 mile from my house it went boom again. Had to back up the car for it to reengage to get it home

I think Ande is the only one who made it home without any serious problems. Therefore, it's his fault...he sabotaged us. Send all bills to DiablowformulaRacing.com.

Hmmm might have to do that. If it is just a ring and pinion I'll send that bill his way. 3.45 gears only are over $800 shipped from OZ

Yeah not a good day all-around. Oh well, guess it could always be worse...

PS...I think you won the high-jump contest (rear wheels). Pullin' the front wheels in the staging lanes and hoppin' the rear wheels on the line...out of control.
