if the spankees won last night, there would be 3 pages of chest thumping.

All I hear is crickets chirping.

BTW, did you see all the empty seats in the 7th inning? Disgraceful.

It's certainly not over, but it shows that the Fightin's are for real.

Tell that to most of the scumbag Yankees fans who think their "26 rings" have any bearing on 2009.

Obviously some Yankees fans aren't idiots and can look at an opposing team without biased...but most are clueless fucktards....as are most NY fans in general.

This series is far from over but if I was a Yankees fan I certainly wouldn't want to see them coming here to Philly down 2-0.

Pedro is either going to be lights out he's going to get shelled tonight.

thats 1..........

i think tonites game is gonna me more offensive minded. i see it being pretty high scoring as both pitchers give up hits. but Pedro has been pretty good in his recent outings unlike Burnett whos been getting knocked around pretty well his last few times. should be interesting though.

lol@the crickets comment. aint that allways the case.

I'm suprised the Yanks fans haven't come back to rub it in. I know it's not over, but ol Charlie gonna have to re think his pitching strategy. It's too late to get Lee in for 2 more games, but he's got to sit Hamels and Lidge and let Happ and Pedro pitch, should they get to a game 6 or 7.

Kudos to Jeter and Damon. They're killing us, as well as Lidge.

Wow...the price dropped from $10,000 over at the CF site to $3,000 here...must be because it's not being posted in the drag racing section here.

What a bargain.

Yeah and all Philly fans are toothless beer drinkin', sister f*ckin, pick up truck drivin', no job havin', trailor park livin' trash that brush their teeth with their tongues and think that buying tickets to their teams sporting events is more important than taking their bastard kids to the doctor every few years or so. Dick!
Now go pull out that last loose tooth and watch your team lose.

ps(these comments are ONLY directed towards Mr. Big Mouth Frosty) as many of you Philly guys I have spoken with about NY/Philly topics, mostly football, know I would never talk this way to any of you but this guy Frosty comes off like a real tool.

Philly has trailer parks? Tell me how my comments were off base? Before the series started everyone wrote off the Phillies like it was going to be a cake walk for the Yanks, aside from Game 2 every game was close until a big inning.

I see they don't teach reading comprehension in NJ public schools(it's OK, I grew up in NJ too lol). Notice I didn't say "all". There are very intelligent NY fans and non-biased ones out there that can look at a game/team/situation and see it for what it is. However, there are complete idiots out there(just like Philly and any other city). Sorry you can't see what I said and actually read it without flipping out(it's kind of funny though)

Tell me, if NY fans are so great why'd they leave in the 7th-8th inning of a World Series game? Actually, that comparison isn't fair, most Yankees fans can't afford the outrageous prices at Yankee stadium....most of the people leaving were corporate schleps which is a shame.(being serious).

BTW, this was only in good fun and some ribbing. I find it funny though, you rip on Philly yet you live in NJ...a bit ironic. NJ(and PA for that matter) needs to be nuked off the face of the Earth...

I still don't understand why Madson doesn't go back out for the 9th. I HATE when a closer is in for a non-save situation....especially when Madson pitched a solid 8th. Oh well, coulda shoulda woulda, heads up play by Damon, completely changed that inning.

Obviously we know the Phillies won't roll over...but to win 3 straight, 2 in the Bronzx...I don't know....

I can read just fine, spelling seems to be an issue but I can read.

I'm not flipping out, I actually don't really even watch baseball. Football I watch and philly kicked the **** out of us yesterday (Giants fan)

You say it's all in fun, ok sorry I called you toothless.

btw, I grew up in brooklyn and I really don't have an issue with philly at all, maybe if I were a Mets fan, haha

Half way thru the second quarter, I'm thinking to myself now did some mob boss pay Eli to "throw" that game?

Even as an Eagles fan I had to feel sorry for the Giants.....NOT.
