Default Cam Only Car 10.381 Now #6 on the list !!!

Ran a new best today in the car, the best run was at 12:43 pm with a DA of -500.
60' 1.367
330 4.211
1/8 6.573
mph 103.09
1000 8.633
1/4 10.381
mph 129.32

Thanks to all of those who have helped me along the way with the car espicially Rick and my brother Charles. The 1.3x 60' is insane!!!! If anyone has video's of the run's please send me them I would greatly apreciate it. I had a great time at the rental today.

damn seeing all you fast cam only cars runnin mid to low 10's is making me ansy to start my setup and see if i can catch up. Keep at it, maybe with a little better air and more fine tuning you can tackle the top spots.

Congrats! The car was running much better than when I saw you at e-town.
It leaves nice an straight too! (Not like me)

Keep working it, you'll move up even further.

The air really wasn't that good. (mid 50's?)
I am surprised you are saying -500.
At the end of the day, when the air was getting better it was +750 according to the weather station I was looking at.

I didn't follow it closely though, because I was making my own atmosphere.

The car at etown was running with a bad altenator LOL I used dragtiimes.com to calc the DA . I guess it's not too accurate

The calculations are potentially accurate but unfortunately the actual measuring devices that they're using for the raw data/numbers might not be.
If the track had it's own weather station and that information was readily available to Dragtimes I would say it's dead on accurate but if the numbers they're using to arrive at these DAs were retrieved from a weather station located on top of a pole 30 feet in the air over in Mount Holly which is roughly 10-15 miles away then of course the numbers might not be 100% correct.
By the same token, I don't feel that the handheld unit that Steve is referring to was entirely accurate either as it might've been reading a little high in my opinion based on how my and other cars ran. Though it was the highest humidity (not a huge factor in determining DA) and it was actually raining at that point (yes, I did actually make a low 11 second pass in the rain ).
My guess is that yes, in the morning it might've been around a -500 DA but later on it definitely went higher.

If i'm wrong and the DA was a best of +50 i'm even happier lol December 3rd will be a blast. Maybe I can get my lexan and a-arms in by then.

check the weight savings for the upper arms before you spend your money on them, from what I remember they don't save any weight and I still have the stockers in because of that.

That car lighter will be that much better, can't wait to see what it runs in Dec.
