Ethanol gas and 2-Strokes don't go together...Make sure you run some blue Statron in the gas to help stop the fuel from braking down. I've been running it in my sleds and boat for the past few years and haven't had an issue yet

yup, need good fuel and star tron for sure.
looks like you may have been a touch on the lean side as well. i know my egt with eth fuel got higher. i was safe before tho, so didnt rejet. but you need to add a touch of fuel. probably in mid range

make sure you run starttron in the red one before you run it this season. I worked on way to many boats last summer where people forgot to do that.

speaking of which, i need to change the oil in my bitch

Anything that sits in the water can, and usually does suck. Especially on the wallet.

I'm waiting until the day one of these gas companies gets sued for the "this product may contain up to 10% ethanol" lie. I've yet to test a tank of gas that wasn't 15% or greater, it really ***** with just about EVERYTHING.

I usually pick it up at CAP or Napa, but they don't have it all the time, so I usually get 2 of them when they have em

I don't have a ski, but I run it in my boat, my snowmobiles, and my Trans Am every fill up...And I always add a little extra to them before storing it.

i honestly think mine was more due to the carbs not being cleaned (i never cleaned them dont know if the last owner did or not) and maybe the fuel pump going bad. apparently on pwctoday.com they r saying the fuel pump usually goes on these and always burns up the #1 piston. but im def gonna start using that sh*t in all my toys from now on good point!

So I have an 08 Sea-Doo 4 stroke, I just filled up the rest of the tank with Exxon 93, the other half was Wawa 92 octane, should I use this starttron before I take it out next weekend?

its not star tron in the red bottle, that iso heat. that isnt good anymore for 2 strokes, i still use it every now and then if im in negitive 15-20 i will dump some in my sleds, but i watch my etg gauge a lot. it is star tron with the red stripe if thats what you mean, over on the sled forum this confuses most people new to it. so just want to clear it up.
the startron is marine stuff. i have been using it for years. i run it in EVERYTHING from boat to vett to race car to the diesel truck and boat (diesel stuff is not the same it has a grey strip on the same bottle.

stuff is suposed to work great. i have fuel sitting in a clear bottle waiting for it to go bad and im going to put it in and see what it does

I run 93 when I can but it gets expensive when you are filling a boat. Guess it is cheap insurance though. I gotta get some of this stuff and run it for good measure. I am not trying to put an engine in my boat. Dont even wanna know what it would cost me.

if it blows I am upgrading though!!!
