If you have been making decent money and your bills arent high unemployment is a pretty decent gig while it lasts.

I was unemployed 6 months and I enjoyed it greatly

I know people who dont want to go back to work. They collect and get under the table jobs and just enjoy life. They are not really good for the economy but for the short term their life is pretty nice

Op good luck finding work. If I was you I would have held on to that job with a fight. Iv been laid off for a while now (sheetmetal hvac) and its not getting better out there. In fact we are headed for the depression that we already should have been in before the bandaid (stimulus) was passed.

you will be ok krazy, I resigned back in july myself and just left one day and my company cant survive without me. Been callin me for a month now asking to come in as contracter for while and **** lol.. Im getting back into work world this week but not sure what route Im gonna go...computers at my level is always huge money but Im thinking of going another router for bit and see how it is. Might start my own pc/server consulting company if I get motivated. Good luck bro, send me some info an what you do..I got a ton of connects in almost any field.

Mike almost got me a job once but the other person had a qualification I lacked...****.

Marco, check out some local job fairs. Most stuff is entry level but you can get into a decent company. My brother got a job at raytheon through one, doing exactly what it is your looking for. Good benefits and overtime.
