I agree it's a great deal and you would think it would help with the car count.
I think a lot of people were in the same boat as you. Having a strong car, but just thought the field would be faster.
Porsche s4 is #1 with a 10.51. Crazy fast car.
Pretty even split of import and domestic.
Bikini contest is coming up! It was worth it to come for that alone. lol

My brother Carlos and I had a great day, could not make it until today placed number 13 in the 16 car field for Motor Street in the one an only session they had. It good event really enjoyed the day other than the constant ricer breakage, see you soon at the shop Fran for upgrades. Orange Juice where were you?

Awesome Awesome time, except for getting in the gate Saturday morning with the 3 hour wait and missing first 3 Auto ET Runs.
Lots of awesome cars, shame about all the breakage. I made it to round 2 of Auto ET but packed it up when I realized it was 7pm and I still had a 5 hour drive home with work at 7am. Changed tires and drove 300 miles home
Stick ET Got boned out of a pass on Sunday which sucked.
Ran a new PB... 11.55@118.28 on a 1.63 60' all motor. After that I was too afraid to turn the bottle on and get the boot.
PS... I felt like other cars had it out for me this weekend. The turbo camaro almost took me out on Saturday night when he got water under his tires past the 1000ft mark and came over into my lane and took out the timing lights then my 2nd pass Sunday the fox body I was racing blew up and some parts crossed lanes and hit my car, didn't see any damage tho, didn't realize it till I saw the video.

A couple new PB's for me.
Went 8.46 in the Wild Street Final, but the run didn't count because the starter put his hand up in front of my opponant at the last second (we were fully staged on a .400 tree) and he didn't launch. There was a re-run and I went 8.50 and lost by .006.

If so then it counts, maybe not for the win but at least for the ET.
And let's not forget that 1.20 sixty foot, that's some seriously unchartered territory for a late model Corvette, especially one with IRS.

The Run Down of My Weekend
Went to Maryland International Raceway this weekend to race in the Import vs. Domestic Wild Street Event.
The 16 car field had a cut of 9.35? & no.1 qualifer when 8.37 (A friggen Honda)
Here's the run down of my weekend
Qualified no. 2 with a 8.641@ 152.06
NO.1 Qualifer was a Honda 8.37@178? (which is who I ran in the finals)
Before I go any farther I KNOW MY LIGHTS SUCKEDand cost me the big time
RD 1 of Eliminations 8.779@ 143.73 (lifted)
RD 2 of Eliminations (I had a bye run)
RD 3 of Eliminations (Semi finals) 8.619@ 154.28 - 1.258 60'
RD 4 FINALS 8.46@ 155.44- 1.220 60'- 132.05 1/8 mph
Just a hand written slip from the tower, they wouldn't give me the (WIN) slip. :bs
Re- run of the Finals 8.501@155.15 - 1.207 60'
Yes I said re-run of the Final
My opponent pre-stages, I pre-stage, then I stage, my opponent stages, the lights drop and I go, 8.46 later I get the win light.
(The rest is hear say)
At the booth I was told there will be a re-run because the starter raised his hand up at my opponent (between fully staged & the lights dropping on a .400 tree) because he heard or though ? my opponent had a leak. Was that my problem?
Not sure if he broke the beams, I think he did. I do know I rushed him staging right away (my plan) and he didn't built his boost up 100%
Anyway after a short cool down (and protest), we race again and I lose by .006
As I said, the tree cost me :ack:
It was a good weekend all n' all, I broke the Corvette IRS Supercharger record & Corvette IRS 60' record.
ECS rocks :partyon:

The re-run I was late on the tree (wasn't having a good RT day) plus I short shifted 2nd in all the excitment. It was alot of fun, just wish I hadn't let that import win. I bet their having an blast on the import forums.

Pretty good weekend, I ran the 10.50 index, went to the semis and red lighted but ran my best time Saturday. I swapped t-400 we put a trans with a transbreak in and went 10.36 at 126 with a 1.32 60ft. I am really happy with the car. stock suspension, and the only internal i have is a 224/224 cam. rest of the mods in signature.
